Dr. Newpol has experience training at Auburn University Counseling Center, Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems Employee Assistance Program (Atlanta, GA), Skyland Trail Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (Atlanta, GA), Atlanta City Detention Center, and the Ann Arbor VA Healthcare System. 

All of Dr. Newpol's courses in neuropsychology were taught by Nick DeFilippis, Ph.D., A.B.P.P. (Booklet Category Test), who is widely published and presented internationally in both clinical and neuropsychological topics. He is an editorial presence in many respected neuropsychological journals. Dr. Newpol became a teaching assistant for Dr. DeFilippis, and later joined his practice where she administered assessments and found errors in other psychologists' scoring for court cases. Other neuropsychological training completed by Dr. Newpol include, but aren't limited to, Restore Neurobehavioral Inpatient Unit at West Paces Medical Center (Atlanta, GA), and the Ann Arbor VA Healthcare System where she completed her doctoral internship. 

Dr. Newpol has deep ties to Michigan and North Carolina.  Her three sons were born and raised in Ann Arbor, MI, and she was born in Raleigh, NC, with extended family all over the state.
